Gauja Trail by UTMB 2027: Transport from Riga
We are the official transfer partner of Gauja Trail by UTMB. The 2027 race takes place from August 6 to 8 in Gauja National Park. Runners don't need to look for accommodation in Sigulda or Cēsis: stay in Riga and we will take you to the start of any distance in Sigulda, Ratnieki or Cēsis.
All distances finish in Cēsis, at Rožu laukums. After the finish, there are several return trips to Riga at different times, so go home when it's convenient for you, not when the last bus leaves.

FAQ for runners
Where do I leave my things, and how do they get to the finish?
Leave your bag with a change of clothes and shoes at the Gauja Trail bag drop at the start. The race organizers take it to the finish in Cēsis, where you pick it up after you finish and then board the return bus.
The start is early in the morning. Will I make it?
Yes. The 100 K starts in Sigulda at 7:30 and the 50 K in Ratnieki at 8:30, so we leave Riga early and arrive at the start no later than 60 minutes before it begins. That gives you time to pick up your bib, use the restroom and warm up. You'll find the exact departure time and departure point on the trip page.
Why are there several return trips?
Runners finish at very different times. That's why there are several departures from Cēsis to Riga: the fastest can head home soon after they finish, while those who stay for the awards or finish later take the next bus. The times are on the trip page, and you can choose your departure after you finish.
How much does the trip cost?
A round trip costs €25–30 depending on the distance and route; the exact price is on the trip card. Groups of 5 or more get a discount, so write to us.
How do I sign up?
