Privacy Policy

Effective from 1 October 2026.

In this policy, we explain what personal data BraucamKopā.lv collects, why, how long it is stored, to whom it is transferred, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

The data controller is MR SIA, registration number 44103130848, legal address Selgas Street 13, Engure, Engures parish, Tukuma county, LV-3113, Latvia, office address Lapeņu Street 23, Riga, LV-1013, which maintains the website braucamkopa.lv and organizes trips under the brand BraucamKopā.lv.

For data questions, write to brauc@braucamkopa.lv or call +371 2781 4444.

2. What data do we collect and why?

Applying for a trip

While you are registering for a trip, there is a registration form on the trip page. In it, you provide your name, email, phone number, and number of riders. You can optionally indicate that you want to receive news.

  • Goal: to understand whether the trip will collect the minimum number of riders and to contact you about this trip (start of ticket sales, changes, cancellations).
  • Basis: your consent, which is given in the form, and measures taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
  • The application will only be valid once you confirm it via the link in the email. The link is valid for 48 hours.
  • For trips that require payment by invoice, the application is a seat reservation, and we note whether the invoice has been paid.

Ticket purchase

Tickets are purchased through the Fienta ticket system (fienta.com). Fienta is a separate service that processes the payment and sends the ticket. From Fienta we receive the buyer's name, email and phone number, number and types of tickets, amount, order status, answer to the question about receiving news and marketing information about where the buyer came from (referrer website, UTM parameters, discount code).

  • Goal: fulfill the trip contract (passenger list, boarding, trip communication), list available seats, apply discount codes, and understand which channels bring in buyers.
  • Basis: Contract performance, accounting requirements and our legitimate interests (channel accounting).
  • Fienta's privacy policy explains how Fienta processes payment and account data.

Receiving news

In the newsletter form, indicate your email address. We only send you newsletters if you have explicitly chosen to do so: in the newsletter form, by checking the box in the application or by checking the receipt of newsletters in the Fienta purchase. Confirm the newsletter form with the link in the email.

  • Purpose: to inform about new trips.
  • Basis: your consent.
  • We share your email, first name, last name, country, source of consent (form, application or purchase), and the name of your first trip with the newsletter. We do not share your phone number.
  • You can unsubscribe using the link at the end of each newsletter email or by writing to us. After you unsubscribe, we will not send you newsletters until you agree again.

Collaboration requests and contact form

On the page For organizers there are forms for suggesting an event, requesting transportation, and collaborating, but on the page Contacts is a message form. In them, you provide your name, email, phone number (there is no phone number in the contact form), and answers to the form questions, such as the event, date, location, number of guests, or message.

  • Purpose: to review the request and respond.
  • Basis: your consent, which is given in the form, and measures taken at your request.
  • If you recommend an event and we create a trip for it, we will email you once when registration opens and once when ticket sales begin. If there is a referrer discount code for the trip, we will send it to this email.

Technical data

3. One person in all entries

In order not to send the same thing multiple times and to be able to fulfill your requests, applications, purchases and inquiries with one email, we link them into one personal record (name, email, phone, country by phone prefix, newsletter consent or refusal).

4. How long do we store data?
