Although in previous years it has been customary for the largest concerts in Lithuania to take place in Vilnius' Viņģa Park, no major concert has yet been announced for November 2023 with this venue. Perhaps the reason is the previous year's negative experiences Rammstein and Imagine Dragons during the concerts. Then it was very difficult to get to and from the concert, and it was forbidden to bring water into the event area and it was impossible to get it in the concert area. However, concerts and Lithuania go hand in hand and the 2024 concert season will not disappoint! Until the situation is resolved in the Lithuanian government, the big concerts have moved to Kaunas. This is not bad news for music fans from Latvia, as the trip will take a little less time. The venues also promise to be of high quality – both the modern Kaunas Žalgīrs Arena and the recently renovated S. Darjus and S. Girēns Stadium are ready to provide a top-class experience for visitors! Concerts in Kaunas have only advantages, so there is nothing to worry about!
LP – the first big concert of 2024 in Lithuania already on March 4th!
Laura Pergolizzi announced at the end of September that the concert tour for the new album Love Lines will move from the USA to Europe after the turn of the year. The very tight schedule includes 19 concerts in Scandinavia, Central Europe and the UK. For those living in our latitudes, the nearest concert will take place in Kaunas on March 4, at the Žalgira Arena. Although the LP records in streaming platforms have accumulated more than a billion (!!!) listens, concert performances are much more active and even more emotional. LP's vocal and musical arsenal is incomparable to other artists. Laura's unique sound, style and skill level have gathered millions of fans around the world. The concert program will be quite polished and you will be able to do without possible technical glitches that tend to happen at the beginning of a concert tour. At the concert, you will hear not only Laura's vocal skills, but also be able to appreciate her guitar playing and even whistling. This concert will be a great start to the 2024 concert season in the Baltic States, which music lovers should not miss!
Sting's first stop in the Baltics in 2024 is at Kaunas Žalgiris Arena on June 9th.
Sting will perform both his best and new songs at the “My Songs” concert at Kaunas Žalgiris Arena on June 9, 2024. Interestingly, as part of this concert tour, there have already been concerts in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Since the first concerts in the UK, reviews have been highly praising both the content of the concert and its performance. Accompanied by a rock ensemble, Sting will play both his biggest hits and the loudest singles from the beginning of his musical career as a member of “The Police”, thus taking the audience through more than 5 decades of rock music. Sting, who is already enjoying his eighth decade of life, is still able to move crowds! A great concert is expected both in Kaunas and a day later in Tartu!
Ed Sheeran and stadium mathematics – 3+4=2 concerts in Lithuania!
The first concert of Ed Sheeran's announced +-=÷× (Mathematics) 2024 Tour on August 3 in Kaunas was sold out in record time. Consequently, an additional concert was also promptly organized the day later. Therefore, 3 plus 4 equals 2. Two concerts in Lithuania on August 3 and 4. Thus, Ed Sheeran returns to the Baltics with not just 1, but 2 concerts in the heart of Lithuania! The artist himself does not raise any questions - he can surprise even the most hardened fans and play in any genre. Therefore, at the concert you can expect to dream about love ballads and pop, as well as go crazy with rock and hip-hop. The title of the concert itself combines all his released albums with mathematical names - “+”, “-“, “=”, “÷” and “×”. You can also expect the most current songs from “Autumn Variations” and “No. 6 Collaborations Project”. What makes this concert program special is his ability to single-handedly bring the stadium to life. If we can believe the predictions, he will be creating the music for most of the concert himself using guitars and loop station.
World superstars at Birži – Music Legends Festival in Lithuania on June 15.
The Legends Music Festival in Birži has now become a tradition, where legendary world music stars take to the stage of the Kiluči Festival. The lake continues to resonate with this year's hits, but the organizers have prepared a hot lineup for next year's festival. Bonnie, Tyler, Suzi Quattro, Samantha Fox and Nick Kershaw are scheduled to take to the stage. Who will entertain you in this 6-hour super show? Suzi Quattro is known as the woman who first broke through to the top of the rock music world, legendary for her bass guitar playing. Also taking to the stage will be Samantha Fox, whose career has developed differently - from Catholic school to nude photos in the most popular British newspapers, her scandalous and rebellious past does not prevent us from hearing her musical talent. For the first time in Lithuania, Nick Kershaw, the author of “I Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me” (and not only), who has won the hearts of listeners all over the world since the mid-1980s, will perform on stage. And the hottest artist on stage will undoubtedly be Bonnie Tyler. Despite 6 month forced silence in the beginning of her career, which initially seemed to undermine her career, the opposite happened. After the operation, her voice took on new moods and appealed even more to her listeners. With her songs, she was even able to dislodge pop music icon Michael Jackson from the top of the charts.
